Transponder.BTGrab is an ad supported Browser Helper Object (BHO).
Transponder.BTGrab displays ads on the desktop, usually pop-ups, in response to the user's surfing and search history. Search terms and URLs are sent to the server at btg.btgrab.com which in turn returns instructions to serve ads from other domains. Each installation is said store a unique ID that is also transmitted to the controling server.
