This program is not a real trojan, but an utility that works like a trojan because of a bug. It was possibly written to read the hard drive MBR, get the address of DOS boot record and patch it so, that the system then will not be able to access the hard drive (possibly there is the countra-utility that recover these data and enables the hard drive). But due to a bug this program (depending on the hard drive controller type) can corrupt random sector (including system one) on the hard drive. |
