It is not a dangerous nonmemory resident encrypted parasitic virus. When an infected file is executed on C: drive, the virus searches for EXE files and writes itself to the end of the file. Being executed on any other drive the virus does not infect the files.
The virus overwrites second physical sector of hard drive with ID information. In some cases it displays the message and calls loop of reading from hard drive:
RETALIATOR has detected resident Anti-viral software. TRASHING HARD DISK!
