PathVir.1020
It is a dangerous nonmemory resident parasitic virus. It searches for COM (except COMMAND.COM) files in current directory and directories that are listed in PATH, then writes itself to the end of the file. On December 30th the virus creates (overwrites) the AUTOEXEC.BAT file on current disk and writes the commands to there:

echo PATH-Virus v1.0 from AWVC laboratoriesall
PATH-VIR.COM
The virus then creates the PATH-VIR.COM file and writes a program to there, being executed that program halts the computer. |
