This is a relatively harmless memory resident encrypted parasitic virus. It hooks INT 1Ch and 21h, and writes itself to the end of EXE files that are executed. On November 23, beginning from the 50th minute of each hour, the virus displays a running char from the left to the right side of the screen ":-)" (code number 1 from dos char table). The virus contains the text strings:
