This is a memory resident parasitic virus. It hooks INT 9, 10h, 17h, 21h and 27h. It infects the COM-files upon their execution. Sometimes it erases disk sectors. It changes the numbers when it is displayed or printed. It duplicates the keyboard input.
This virus writes itself at the end of the file and changes the second (not the first) file instruction to the 'call to virus' command:
XXXX XXXX ; first file instruction
CALL VIRUS ; jump to the virus body
all. .....
It also contains the text string:
My name is Emmie, I am Eddie`s sister.
.com .COM
