SearchExtender attempts to download the components and installation programs of other malware, adware, or spware applications.
Immediately after its execution, SearchExtender creates uninstall information for Home Search Assistant, Shopping Wizard, and Search Extender. However, when the user attempts to uninstall these said applications via Control Panel, they are instead redirected to the following Web page:
