SanLorenzo Family
These are dangerous memory resident parasitic encrypted viruses. They hook INT 21h and write themselves to the end of the files that are executed. "SanLorenzo.1025" infects COM files, "SanLorenzo.1355" infects EXE files. While infecting a file the viruses delete the CHKLIST.MS file, if it exists, and overwrite the ANTI-VIR.DAT file with the string:
"SanLorenzo.1025": tbcheck
"SanLorenzo.1355": TBcheck
When the F-PROT.EXE file is executed, "SanLorenzo.1025" displays:
Not enough memory
Depending on the system date and time "SanLorenzo.1025" display the messages, then waits for SPACE keystroke:
