Pro Site Finder is a browser helper. It monitors what the user types in the address bar and may redirect the user to the Pro Site Finder web site.
Pro Site Finder is installed as part of a bundled attack. The program runs in the background, monitoring text typed into the Internet Explorer address bar and redirecting some requests to the ProSiteFinder search engine web site. The program is installed in stealth mode providing no prompts to confirm or cancel installation.
Pro Site Finder is a web site portal. When the user is redirected to Pro Site Finder’s web site they are presented with sponsored links in a search engine style interface.
The program may be removed by using the Add/Remove icon in the Windows Control Panel.
