It is a harmless memory resident parasitic virus. It hooks only INT 86h, intercepts the DOS access to the COM files, and writes itself to the beginning of the file.
To intercept the execution of the files the virus patches the resident portion of COMMAND.COM with INT 86h call. As a result of this manipulation the COMMAND.COM generates INT 86h while executing files.
This virus process correct only under DOS 3.30. The virus writes the INT 86h call to the fixed address. That address is correct only for DOS 3.30. |
