Troj.Damaru is a trojan horse that blocks access to security websites by editing the Windows hosts file. This can result in the inability of updates for certain computer security/anti-virus programs.
Troj.Damaru also has key logging capabilities used to capture various types of information including, but not limited to, passwords and bank account/credit card numbers.
