Lobotomy Family
These are a dangerous nonmemory resident parasitic viruses. They search for COM files, then write themselves to the end of the file. The viruses delete the ADINF anti-virus databases. Depending on the system time the viruses display the messages:

Lobotomy.966:
LOBOTOMY
RESET your machine and soon, you`ll know,
that I`m the Natural_Born_Killer all
v1.1 (c)95_MSfVC Bye ...
"Lobotomy.824" also displays a text in Russian. "Lobotomy.966" erases the CMOS and halts the computer. |
