This is a benign memory resident parasitic encrypted virus. It hooks INT 8 and 21h, and writes itself to the end of COM and EXE files that are accessed. Upon loading, it infects the COMMAND.COM file by using the text string "c:command.com". If the date and month correspond by number(the January 1st, February 2nd,all), the virus rotates the symbols 'l', '-', '/', '', '|' on the screen. |
