Pantera_II family
These are harmless nonmemory resident encrypted parasitic viruses. They search for .COM files, then write themselves to the end of the file. While decrypting their code the viruses read the boot sector stamp (55AAh) from the MBR of the hard drive and use this constant value in decryption loop.
The viruses do not manifest themselves in any way, they contain the text strings:
