Wizard Family
These are harmless memory resident parasitic viruses. They hook INT 21h and write themselves to the end of files that are executed or loaded as overlays. "Wizard.268" hits COM-files only, "Wizard.495" hits both COM- and EXE-files. Depending on the system timer they display:
"Wizard.268": I'm WIZARd 3.0
"Wizard.495": I'm WIZARd 4.0 |
