These are memory resident harmless viruses. They hook INT 13h and infect floppy Boot-sectors and hard drive MBR by the "Stoned" method. They encrypt the content of the original Boot and MBR sectors before saving on disk. These viruses also contain the encrypted word "Monkey". |
