Rbot is the name of a family of remote access tools, also known as backdoors or worms, used by hackers to control a machine without the owner's knowledge.
Upon execution, this memory-resident worm drops a copy of itself as navupdaters.exe in the Windows system folder.
To enable automatic execution at every system startup, it creates the following registry entries:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESoftwareMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionRunServices
NAV Auto Updates = navupdaters.exe
