PickOfTheWeb Toolbar is affiliate and/or owned by WhenU, a large spyware distributor.
Important excerpt from the EULA:
"...By downloading and/or using the Software Product, you authorize the Company to collect information related to your Internet usage through the Software Product including, without limitation, the various websites that you visit, the duration of such visits, the types of information, services and/or goods associated with such websites and the personal information submitted during such visits (collectively, the "Information"). You understand and agree that, based on the Information, the Company may supply a continuous number of targeted advertisements to your computer system in the form of pop-up windows, pop-under windows, instant messaging platform messages and/or e-mail marketing ("Targeted Advertising"). You agree that such collection and associated targeted advertising is done with your explicit consent and permission...".
