This is a benign memory resident virus. It hooks INT 21h and writes itself to the end of COM files, and writes to the beginning of the file the 14 bytes Jmp-Virus rioutine (all PUSH Segm_Virus; PUSH 0;RETF).
Depending on the BIOS memory and the current date (February 23, March 7, April 22, April 30 and November 6 - old soviet holidays) the virus manifests itself by displaying the vertical lines on the screen. This virus contains the texts:
