Topconverting.SPEYLOD downloads and installs various spyware and adware such as 180 Solutions, SurfSideKick and SAHSelect and installs itself as a BHO.
Topconverting.SPEYLOD checks the system’s current Internet connection status, and then checks the system registry if there are any Browser Helper Objects (BHOs) registered. If it does not detect any BHO, this adware then registers itself as one, which enables it, as well as its related components, to manipulate the browsers settings, such as lowering the Internet security settings in order to download other adware programs on the machine.
