These are dangerous not memory resident overwriting viruses. They search for .COM-files and overwrite them. They call INT 24h on searching, it causes standard DOS error message:
General Failure error reading drive ?:
Abort? Retry? Ignore?
These viruses display the message:
Program halted by Cop-Com
Unauthorized program on your system
